When Does My Pet Need Emergency Care?

Although there are many emergency situations, the following are common conditions requiring emergency veterinary care:

• Trauma
• Labored or difficult breathing
• Collapse or loss of conciousness
• Seizures
• Sudden change in mental status or activity
• Toxin ingestion
• Severe or persistent vomiting
