Star Performance Nomination Information
Who Can Be Nominated as a Star Performer?
Any faculty or staff member in good standing with the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital who has not already received the star performer award during the previous 12 months.
Who Can Nominate an Employee?
Any faculty or staff member, veterinary student, or client within the VTH can nominate an employee.
What Constitutes Star Performance?
A star performer is someone who consistently exceeds the duties and expectations of their position. A star performer also exemplifies the values of the VTH through their work.
How Often is the Award Given Out?
The star performance award is given out once a month.
What Happens to the Nomination if the Employee is not Selected?
Nominations not immediately selected are considered for three months.
Are Employees be Notified That They Have Been Nominated?
Yes. The Hospital Director sends an acknowledgement message to those who submit nominations and sends a congratulations message to nominees.
Who Selects the Recipient Each Month?
The Hospital Director calls upon the previous month's winner to collaborate in reviewing the nominees and selecting the next month's award winner.
