Services We Offer

Wellness Exams

For optimum health and wellness, your exotic pet should have a veterinary examination at least annually. For some types of pets, more frequent visits may be appropriate. By evaluating factors such as age, species, health, and environment, we can discuss with you the recommended frequency of visits based on your pet's individual needs.

Vaccinations

Regular vaccinations for your exotic pet prevent disease from harmful viruses and other pathogens. This also helps keep other pets, as well as your own, safe.

Spaying & Neutering

Spaying and neutering often can benefit the attitude, behavior, and overall health of your exotic pet. You can reduce the chance of unexpected offspring, reproductive diseases, and unwanted behaviors. Spaying and neutering are both procedures that will require Anesthesia, but your pet generally will be able to return home the same day.

We have a special carbon dioxide laser that lets us perform castrations on sugar gliders while minimizing pain and blood loss in these very small animals.

Treatment of Avian Cloacal Papillomatosis

Cloacal papillomatosis is a condition where wart-like growths appear in the cloaca. Birds may exhibit reddened tissue protruding from the vent or blood in the droppings or around the vent. We can use our special carbon dioxide laser to safely remove these growths.
