Zoological Medicine
Our Partnerships
Many exotic species, beyond those normal companion pets, need veterinary care. Our zoological medicine specialists are trained to care for a variety of species, from lions to tigers to bears (oh my!).
By partering with local organizations that house, foster, and care for these types of animals, we give our students unique opportunities to learn how these animals can be treated. Our veterinarians also are able to further their skills in unique treatments, and often help save the lives of these interesting and often rare animals.
