Drug Withdrawals for Skin Allergy Testing

Important: To properly perform skin testing it is important for your client to withhold certain medications from their pet before their appointment.

Antihistamines

Essential fatty acids/fish oil supplements

Topical steroid containing products

Pramoxine containing conditioners

Cyclosporine & antibiotics
Can be used right up to the day of skin testing
