How to Submit a Sample

Note: In most cases we are able to provide in-house test results in one hour. For special or more advanced testing, this turn-around period may be longer, but most of our tests results are available the same day they are received.

We can receive submissions during the following hours:
Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday/Holidays, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

To submit a sample:

  1. Please be sure your sample follows our Submission Sample Guidelines
  2. Fill out our Clinical Pathology Request Form
  3. Drop-off or overnight your sample to:

Digital Photos With Cytology Specimens

When submitting specimens for cytological examination, we encourage you to include digital photos of any pertinent anatomical features that may aid our pathologists in making their diagnosis. Include the following information so we can match your pictures with the specimen:

  • Owner Name
  • Animal Name
  • Veterinarian and Clinic Name
  • Type of Sample
  • Phone and Fax Numbers
  • Date
