Our Community Practice service provides both wellness care and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
If we are concerned your pet's condition may require intensive care or overnight monitoring, we will recommend seeing Emergency/Urgent Care. If your pet has an ongoing health issue and you have a regular veterinarian you are working with, we recommend you schedule an appointment with the appropriate specialty service. It is not necessary to have a referral to schedule an appointment with us.
Wellness often is thought of as the "proactive" approach to healthcare, where treatment focuses on disease prevention and the optimization of health. Preventive care at all ages can help your pet live a longer, healthier life and can reduce the long-term costs of veterinary care.
We ensure that your puppies and kittens are correctly vaccinated and are growing and developing normally. Exams for your adult dogs and cats help detect problems before they develop into serious conditions. We examine and screen for chronic problems that may develop in your mature pet.
We take care of pets that have a new, minor health concern or injury. Our Community Practice veterinarians and veterinary students can evaluate your pet for minor injuries and disease, and provide treatment recommendations.
